Took BC Ferry to take a break from 5 months lock down…. Gabriola Island is one of the Gulf Islands in the Strait of Georgia in British Columbia, Canada. It is about 5 kilometres east of Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, to which it is linked by a 20-minute ferry service.
It’s worth to take time to visit Malaspina Galleries. It’s a sandstone formation, carved out by waves. The view of the Strait of Georgia from the peninsula above, and from the galleries, is worth the trip. The Galleries are one of a kind.
